Instructions: For The Crust:
Combine the graham cracker crumbs, butter and peanuts in a bowl, mixing well.

Press over the bottom and side of a 10-inch pie plate.

For The Filling:
Beat the cream cheese in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add the confectioners sugar gradually, beating until smooth. Beat in the peanut butter and whipped topping. Stir in the vanilla and praline liqueur. Spoon half of the mixture into the prepared pie plate. Top with the sliced banana. Cover with the remaining mixture.

Freeze for 1 hour before serving. Serve with your favorite chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

How I remember Sunday afternoons! After having eaten ourselves silly, my mom would start playing the old gospel hymns on the piano while Uncle Roy sang along. After a while we would all gather around for Aunt Effies Peanut Butter Pie. At The Doves Nest we add a layer of bananas and a little praline liqueur, but dont tell Aunt Effie!
