Instructions: Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy 3-quart saucepan, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches soft ball stage (234 degrees F.) Remove from heat; add chocolate and beat on medium speed of an electric mixer until chocolate melts. Stir in peanuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased waxed paper; cool thoroughly and store at room temperature.
