Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 cup vinegar, white
1/2 cup sugar (caster)
4 x pears
1 cup onions, medium
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/3 cup raisins
1 tsp ginger, crushed
1 tsp garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Peel and dice onions, pears. Dice celery, tomatoes, raisins.

Place all ingredients in a saucepan.

Allow mixture to heat slowly, simmer gently for 1-2 hours or until chutney is a rich brown colour. Stir regularly.

Pour into small sterilised jars and cover to make airtight.

Keeps for 3-4 months.

Ensure storage jars are well sterilised.
