Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Whisk together cream, maple syrup, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla in a small bowl. Pare, halve, and core pears. Place pears, cut side down, on work surface. Slice thickly widthwise without cutting all the way through. Place, cut side down, in spoke-fashion in 9-inch round quiche dish or 10-inch pie plate. Pour cream mixture over. Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until liquid is bubbly and pears are tender. Serve warm. Email this Recipe:
