Instructions: 1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Set aside. In a small saucepan bring sugar and water to a boil. Increase heat to medium-high and cook syrup without stirring until mixture turns golden, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans, then spread pecans in a single layer on prepared sheet. Let stand until cool, then break into pieces.
2. In a cup, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined. In a large serving bowl, tear arugula and Boston lettuce into strips. Add pears, green onions, cheese, and pecans. Drizzle dressing over top and toss to coat. Makes 6 servings. Email this Recipe:
