2 cup	Log Cabin syrup
1/2 cup	pecans, coarsely chopped
1 cup	pecan halves
3 tbl	butter
1/4 cup	sugar
2 tbl	flour
1/2 tsp	salt
4 x	eggs, well beaten
1 x	homemade pie crust, OR
2 x	deep dish pie crusts

Instructions:

Instructions: Gently boil Log Cabin syrup in an uncovered saucepan for 8 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Sprinkle coarsely chopped pecans in unbaked pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top of pie.

Cream butter, sugar, flour and salt. Add well-beaten eggs, the syrup and vanilla; mix well. Gently pour over nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until browned and puffed. Less time in purchased crust.
