1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup corn syrup
3 x eggs
1/3 cup melted margarine or butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 x unbaked pie shell (9")
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Stir in corn syrup. Add eggs, margarine and vanilla. Beat until blended. Stir in chopped pecans.

Pour filling into pie shell. Arrange pecan halves over filling. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set. Cool. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
