Instructions: Heat oven to 375 . Prepare crust. Beat sugar, margarine, corn syrup, salt and eggs with hand beater. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake 40-50 minutes or until set. Refrigerate at least 2 hours until chilled. Refrigerate any remaining pie.
KENTUCKY PECAN PIE: Add 2 tbls bourbon with liquid ingredients. Stir in 6 oz package chocolate chips with pecans. BRANDY PECAN PIE: Decrease corn syrup to 3/4 cup. Add 1/4 cup brandy. CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE: Melt 2 ozs unsweetened chocolate with the margarine. Add to other liquid ingredients. Email this Recipe:
