10 x piece nangka--seed and halve
4 x half-ripe bananas (preferably pisang raja) _ cut into halves
1/2 x grated coconuts
1 cup boiled water
1/2 lt water
For syrup

200 gm sugar
2 x pandan leaves--knot
1 cup water
2 tbl pearl sago soak until transparent
1/4 tsp salt
MIX grated coconut with boiled water and squeeze to obtain thick coconut milk. Strain and set aside. Add remaining
Instructions:
Instructions: Bring thin coconut milk, sago and pandan leaves to a boil. Simmer over low heat till bubbles are seen. Add bananas and cook for 2 to 3 minutes till bananas are just tender. When the pengat is ready, add the syrup and salt. Remove from heat. Serve pengat cold with nangka and thick
