Instructions: Prepare penne as package label directs. Drain.
In 1-cup glass measure, in microwave oven, cook pine nuts on HIGH 2 1/2 to 4 minutes until golden, stirring twice during cooking. In 2 1/2- to 3-quart casserole, in microwave oven, cook red pepper strips, garlic, oil and crushed red pepper, covered, on HIGH 3 to 4 minutes until pepper strips are tender-crisp; stir once during cooking. Stir in broccoli; cook, covered, on HIGH 7 to 9 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp, stirring halfway through cooking. Stir in beans; cook, covered, 1 to 2 minutes until beans are hot. Into broccoli mixture, stir salt. Toss with penne, basil and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Makes 6 servings. Email this Recipe:
