6 x beef tenderloin steaks cut 1" thick
1 tbl McCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp McCormick Garlic Salt
3 tbl butter or margarine
1 tsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions:
Instructions: Season steaks on both sides with pepper and garlic salt. Press pepper into meat.

Melt butter in 10-inch skillet. Saute steaks 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and keep warm on platter.

Add flour and flavor base to skillet and stir to mix well. Add hot water and Cognac and stir. Heat to boil, spoon over steaks, and serve immediately.

This recipe yields 6 servings, 1 steak each.
