Prepared pie crust for one 9" pie
3 lrg Eggs
1 cup Dark corn syrup
1/2 cup Dark brown sugar
1/4 cup Butter or margarine melted
1 tbl Tabasco pepper sauce
1/2 cup Pecans coarsely chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate; make decorative edge.

In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add dark corn syrup, dark brown sugar, melted butter and Tabasco pepper sauce. Place pecans in prepared pie crust; pour filling over pecans. Bake pie 15 minutes.

Reduce oven to 350 degrees. Bake pie 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
