Instructions: Grease glass 9 x 13 baking pan with melted butter. Add sugar slowly to eggs and beat very well. Add salt, flour, and milk alternately to mixture. Add brick cheese. Fold in cottage cheese and blend with vanilla. Drizzle with teaspoon of melted butter over mixture. It is soupy. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake from 50 - 60 minutes or until light golden in color. You can eat cool or you can preheat the following day.

This recipe comes from my Serbian friend from work. Luba is a quiet, sad woman now. Her country and family are in jeopardy in what was Yugoslavia. She cries for them and worries. It is something that none of us can quite comprehend. My relationship with Luba has changed through the years, but somehow I know she would help me anytime, any moment if I asked. And I hope she knows I would do the same for her.
