Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 F.
Put pineapple in a saucepan and add 2 tablespoons of the granulated sugar. Cover closely and cook about 1 minutes. Remove from the heat. Drop noodles into boiling water to cover, with salt added to taste. Let cook about five minutes and drain. Run briefly under running water. Drain well. Combine cottage cheese, four tablespoons of butter, brown sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract in the container of a food processor or bowl of an electric mixer. Blend well. Pour mixture into a mixing bowl. Add the noodles, pineapple and raisins. Grease an 8-inch or 9-inch baking dish with two teaspoons of the butter. Pour in the mixture. Blend crumbs, cinnamon and remaining tablespoon of granulated sugar. Sprinkle this over the noodle mixture. Dot with remaining tablespoon butter. Place in the oven and bake 1 hour.
