4 tbl shortening
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 cup hot milk
3 x chicken bouillon cubes
4 oz cheddar cheese grated
4 slc toasted white bread (to 5) with crusts trimmed
10 slc bacon cooked crisp
10 slc cooked turkey
1 tbl Parmesan cheese mixed with 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt shortening in a large saucepan over low-medium heat. Raise the heat to medium, sprinkle in the flour and thoroughly mix it with a whisk. Continue cooking the flour, whisking all the while. Add the milk and bouillon cubes. Stir until dissolved. Cook until sauce thickens and begins to bubble. Stir in the cheddar cheese until it melts. Remove from the heat and let sauce thicken more.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange the toast slices in an ovenproof dish and top with bacon slices, then with turkey. Carefully mound the sauce over and around the top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pour melted butter over top. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
