Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 kg plums
2 cup onions, medium
2 tsp garlic, crushed
1/2 cup tomatoes
2 tsp ginger, crushed
1/10 tsp cloves, ground
2 tsp mustard seeds
2 cup vinegar, white
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar (caster)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Dice onions and tomatoes.

Place all ingredients except sugar in a saucepan and heat until boiling.

Reduce heat and simmer gently for 45 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir regularly.

Add sugar, stir until boiling, cook a furthur 30 minutes until thick.

Pour into small sterilised jars and cover to make airtight.

Keeps for 3-4 months.

Ensure storage jars are well sterilised.
