Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F, prepare pans. Roughly chop the plums & remove stones. Sift flour & baking powder, add sugar & wheatgerm, mix. Melt the butter. Beat egg & milk together. Add butter & egg mix to the dry ingredients. Mix lightly with a fork. Gently stir in the plums. Spoon into pans & bake for about 15 mins or until golden & well risen.
