Instructions: Beat first 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, beating until blended.

Stir together flour and baking soda. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in 1 cup chocolate pieces.

Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Place additional chocolate pieces in center of each cookie.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.

This recipe yields about 6 dozen.
