Instructions: The pomegranate certainly wins the beauty contest among fruits. I cannot think of anything more stunning than the sparkling regal vermilion colour of the curvy pomegranate with its frilly crown. The pomegranate came from Persia where it was cultivated four thousand years ago.
Patience is required to extract the seeds from the skin and the bitter yellow pith. It is best to extract them to a plate and then eat them with a spoon.
