4 x pork chops (any kind)
3 tbl flower
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp thyme
1 tsp butter
1 tsp oil
16 x dried apricots
4 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp ginger
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix flower, salt and thyme, lightly dredge chops. In heavy frying pan heat butter and oil, brown chops well on both sides. Place 4 apricots on each chop, sprinkle with ginger and brown sugar. Pour hot water around pork chops and cover with lid. Simmer for 5 minutes or more, depending on thickness of pork chops. For more chops, just increase the apricots and ginger to taste. The gravy is delicious and mashed potatoes are best for this. Guten Appetit.
