4 x pork sausages

3 x onions, medium
2 tsp brandy
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup gravy mix
----------------- APPLES: ----------------
2 x apples, Granny Smith
2 tbl butter
1 tbl brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Prick sausages. Cook in butter or grill until cooked.

Sauce;
Finely slice onions.

Heat butter in a pan, fry onion to soften. Add brandy, cream, and brown gravy mix prepared as per packet.

Apples:
Peel and core apples. Cut into eight wedges each.

Melt butter in frypan.

Add apples and cook for three minutes. Add cinnamon and sugar, toss to coat, and cook over a low heat until apples have softened and turned golden brown. Add spoonfuls of water if apples dry out.

Slice sausages diagonally into six pieces, arrange on plate with apples and drizzle with onion sauce.

Use good quality gourmet pork, veal, chicken or game sausages.
