Instructions: Put all the ingredients into a small saucepan cover with a lid put in the simmering ovenfor 8 to 12 hours.
Stir and serve with milk or cream and your favourite flavouring. Can serve with soft brown sugar and or fruit/salt/yoghurt. This is the easiest breakfast dish to prepare though if you are an infrequent maker of porridge you may need to leave a reminder on the breakfast table that some is in the oven. I have given a recipe for 4 but I do know some people who make individual portions in a small cereal bowl with a saucer on top as a lid. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
