Instructions: Clean portabello caps. Place in a large ziploc bag with the Italian dressing. Marinate for about an hour (turning 2 or 3 times).
Remove from the bag and place on a hot grill. Grill on each side for about 8 minutes. Place an onion slice and cheese slice on each portabello and leave it on the grill (I usually turn it off at this point) until the cheese melts. Put the portabellos along with the tomato slice on a deli bun and add some spicy mustard and mayonnaise. It is a wonderful sandwich.
