Instructions: Cut off the stem, turn upside down, generously pour Maries Fat Free Red Wine Italian Vinaigrette salad dressing, teryaki, liquid smoke, garlic powder, thyme and whatever seasoning you would normally put on steak.
Leave mushroom "on its back " : ) overnight in the fridge to marinate. I cooked on Broil in the oven until lightly browned/burnt. My intention was to put it on a hamburger bun with roasted onions, red and yellow peppers but it was sooooo big, I ended up slicing it like Filet Mignon and putting the slices on a Jalepeno Baguette with the roasted veggies. Wow, was it yummy!! Note: I roasted the peppers by just slicing them in halves or quarters, lengthwise, and placing them on a cookie sheet close to the flame and broiled them until burnt. Remove quickly and place in cold water then the burnt "skin" of the peppers comes off easily and youve got roasted peppers, green, yellow red, orange or whatever. I also placed sliced onions on the cookie sheet but did not burn them, just removed them when they were the consistency I wanted. Email this Recipe:
