5 cup cubed peeled potatoes
5 cup water
2 cup finely-chopped onions
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup sliced carrots
1/4 cup butter or margarine
4 tsp chicken bouillon granules
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1 can evaporated milk - (12 oz)
3 tbl chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large crockpot, combine the first nine ingredients. Cover and cook on HIGH for 7 hours or until vegetables are tender.

Add milk, parsley and chives, mix well. Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes longer until heated through.

This recipe yields 8 to 10 one-cup servings (3 quarts total).
