Ingredients:

125 gm Self-raising flour, (4oz)
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
100 ml Milk, (3 1/2fl oz)
100 gm Cooked, mashed potato, seasoned (3 1/2oz)
1 med Size egg, lightly beaten
25 gm Butter, melted (1oz)
2 tbl Vegetable oil
1 x 125 gram pac English Premium ham
Instructions:
Instructions: Sieve the flour and bicarbonate of soda into a medium mixing bowl.

Make a well in the centre, add the milk, mashed potato and egg. Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.

Add the melted butter and stir in.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Spoon rounded tablepoonsful of the mixture into the pan, about 2cm apart.

Cook over a medium heat for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Cut the ham slices in half and place on to the potato pancakes.

Serve with the fruit chutney.

NOTES : A traditional British meal comprising of ham, potato and chutney.
