Instructions: Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. In another bowl combine eggs and potatoes, then beat in dry ingredients to make a stiff dough. Add more flour as needed to avoid stickyness. Roll dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2" thick. With a knife or cookie cutter, cut into shapes. Fry in deep fat for 2 - 3 minutes or until puffs rise to the top at 365 deg f. Drain on paper toweling. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and serve as a dessert.
