Instructions: Wash the shrimps and pat dry.
To clarify the butter melt then bring it to the boil. Simmer for 2 minutes skim and pour through muslin or a coffee filter paper to remove the sediment. Put the shrimps in a bowl with half the butter. Stir in the mace cayenne pepper and seasoning. Mix well. Spoon into six small pots or ramekins pressing the shrimps down firmly. Pour over the remaining clarified butter. Cool. Chill overnight. Serve with hot toast and salad. Serves 6 Email this Recipe:
