Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
An orange-sized tamarind ball
1 tbl Jaggery, powdered
1 tsp Turmeric
12 x Green chiles, chopped
4 sprg curry leaves, chopped
1 x 4" piece ginger, chopped
Salt, to taste
----------------- For Seasoning ----------------
1 tsp Black mustard seeds
1 tsp Black gram dal
3 x Red chiles, broken
Instructions:
Instructions: Extract juice from tamarind. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, black gram dal and red chilies. When brown, add green chilies and curry leaves and fry for a couple of minutes. Now add tamarind juice, jaggery, turmeric, salt and ginger. Cook till mixture is thick.
