Instructions: Combine 2 cups sugar, water, and butter together in a saucepan; boil to the hard ball stage (265F. to 270F.). Remove from heat and add flavoring. Pour mixture into a well buttered pan and pull until misture is brittle. Cut into 1" pieces and place in a dish of powdered sugar. Leave them there until the mints become creamy.
