Instructions: Nut Topping: Combine brown sugar and walnuts in a small bowl. Set aside. Method: Combine flour, sugar, nuts, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Mix eggs, pumpkin, evaporated milk, oil and maple flavor in medium bowl. Add to flour mixture till just blended.
Filling: Combine cream cheese, sugar and maple flavoring in a small bowl till blended. Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups. Dollop 1 heaping teaspoon of cream cheese filling into center of each cup, pressing into batter slightly. Sprinkle with nut topping. Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, serve warm.
