1 x rectangular loaf of bread

60 gm butter
1 x onion, chopped
4 x shallots, chopped
310 gm can asparagus cuts, drained
310 gm can creamed corn
1/2 cup cream
3 x eggs lightly beaten
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Cut the top off the long side of the loaf and scoop out the middle so that only the crust remains to make a large bread case. Retain top of loaf.

Filling:
2. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add onion and shallots and fry for 3 mins.

3. Mix together asparagus, corn, cream and eggs. Stir in onion mixture and season well with salt and pepper.

4. Place bread case on a baking sheet. spoon in filling, replace the top of the loaf and bake in a moderately hot oven (190C/375F) for 30-40 mins, or until filling is firm. Allow to cool. Serve cut into slices.
