2 sht puff pastry
4 x apples, Granny Smith
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar (caster)
Instructions:
Instructions: Place the pastry sheets on top of each other for double thickness and press lightly with your hand.

Cut into 3 equal rectangular lengths.

Place pastry pieces on a lightly gresed oven tray, slightly apart. Top each piece evenly with thinly sliced apples in an overlapping fasion, gently brush apple with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in a very hot oven for 15 minutes, reduce heat to moderate, bake a furthur 10 minutes until golden brown. Dont burn pastry.

Melt apricot jam in a pan over low heat until boiling and brush all over apples, return to oven 2 minutes.

Cut into portions and serve with whipped cream or ice-cream.
