I serve it on a slice of toast that I save from my breakfast.
1 lb extra lean ground beef, venison or turkey
1 x (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed (dont like kidney beans, but you can use them)
1 can low-fat, low salt chicken broth
1 x (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes with chilies,undrained
1 x (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 x chopped onion
1 tbl chili powder or to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large non-stick saucepan,saute onion and set aside; then brown the ground meat until it is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.

Add all the other ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until heated through.
