Instructions: In 3- or 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, cook chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil. Saute until onions are transparent and slightly browned. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and water or Chianti. Stir to mix well, bring to light boil then reduce heat to simmer. Cook about 10 minutes. Add Italian seasoning and freshly grated Parmesan cheese; mix well and simmer about 5 minutes. Serve over pasta.
