Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
3 med Gourds peeled and chopped big
2 x Green chillies finely chopped
1/4 tsp Grated ginger
1 tsp Crushed groundnuts
2 x Tiny tamarind bits, (2 to 3)
1/4 tsp Cumin & mustard seeds mixed
4 pch turmeric powder, (4 to 5)
Salt to taste
2 pch asafoetida
1 tbl Oil
Instructions:
Instructions: Wash chopped gourd and drain.

Heat oil in a pan, add seeds allow to splutter.

Add asafoetida, green chillies and ginger.

Stir, add chopped gourd.

Add tamarind bits, turmeric powder and salt.

Cover and simmer till gourd is tender.

Add crushed groundnuts and masala.

Stir for a minute, and take off fire.

Serve hot with chapati or steamed rice.

Making time: 15 minutes
