Instructions: Mix sugar, butter, milk and salt together in saucepan. Heat over low heat to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Put eggs and yeast in bowl with mixture of sugar, butter, milk and salt. Add flour and stir completely. Rub butter on sides of the bowl. Set aside to rise. Let stand until dough doubles in size. (About 11/2 to 2 hours) Knead dough and with greased hands, pinch off dough in about 2-inch pieces and roll into balls. Place in a 9-by- 13-inch baking pan and let rolls rise until double in size (about 11/2 hours) Bake at 400 degrees until golden, about 20 minutes.Makes 2 dozen rolls.
