Instructions: Heat the oils in a skillet. Add the thyme, onion, and garlic and saute over medium heat until the onion is almost tender. Add the rye flakes and stir over medium-high heat until the flakes are lightly toasted and emit a nutty fragrance, about 3 minutes longer. Add the mushrooms and stir. In a small bowl, mix together the tamari and the water and pour the mixture over the flakes in the skillet. Cover and reduce the heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until the liquid has been absorbed. Add the parsley and toss.
