Instructions: Cream the first four ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Spread on cake.
Mix all above. Bake in two 9 inch pans at 350 degrees for thirty minutes. Cool on wire rack. (Cut into four layers or leave as two large layers.) Frost with fluffy butter frosting OR cream cheese frosting. Fluffy Butter Frosting: Mix flour and milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly with wire whisk. Cool. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add milk mixture and blend well. Spread on cake layers. Cream Cheese Frosting Cream the first four ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans.
