Instructions: Quickies arent really recipes, just ways to make something to eat that takes seconds, and is both lowfat or fat free, and tastes great. For example; Tomato soup is bland, but for liquid add 1/3 to 1/2 soup can of salsa or picante sauce and the remainder of the can with water.

Makes the
soup zesty, has texture, and no fat.

No fat burritos: Spread some fat free refried beans on a fat free tortilla, sprinkle on some diced onion, fat free cheddar cheese, some picante sauce, and nuke for about 20 seconds. Better than Taco Bells and zero fat.

Tomato Rice Soup: Too simple! Make soup as directed and add one cup of instant rice.

Prunes in Orange Juice: Just that, orange juice over some prunes and pop in the microwave for a few. Plumps them up and great taste.

Tortilla Roll-Ups: Soften fat free cream cheese and mix in what ever sounds good. Some green onions, sweet pepper, pieces of cooked chicken breast, a little horseradish for zing, etc. Your choice, just spread on a fat free tortilla and roll up, cut into one inch pieces.

Jello Deluxe: Make jello as per directions, add to blender with 4 ounces fat free cream cheese, about a tablespoon of fat free sour cream, and half an amount of fruit (bananas, fruit cocktail, pears, peaches, apples, etc.)

Blend until smooth. The other half of the fruit leave in bite size pieces and spoon blend into the jello mixture. Refrigerate as normal.

My Breakfast: Coco Wheats, Oatmeal, etc. microwaved and no milk, just sugar mixed in. Most folks have believed you have to add milk. Tastes great as it. (Not for everybody.)
