Instructions: 1. Cream butter and sugar until thick and pale. Add beaten eggs gradually and beat well, add milk, flour, cream of tartar and bicarbonate of soda sifted together, add vanilla essence, mix lightly.
2. Divide batter into three. Leave one plain, colour one pink, and add grated chocolate to the last. 3. Pour into 3 greased sandwich tins, bake 350 F for 15 minutes. 4. Allow to cool the join together with jam, cover with vanilla icing and decorate with cherries and coconut. Email this Recipe:
