1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 x eggs, beaten
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup shortening
2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 cup raisins, cooked in
Instructions:
Instructions: Dissolve the baking soda in water raisins were cooked in. Add to the dough. Then spread dough on cookie sheet. Dough will be thick but try and spread rather thin. Bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Frost with favorite frosting or dust with powdered sugar.
