1 lb lean ground beef
1 med onion chopped
2 can pinto beans - (15 oz ea) undrained
1 can diced tomatoes - (28 oz) undrained
1 can tomato sauce - (15 oz)
1 can chopped green chilies - (4 oz) undrained
2 tbl chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for 1 hour, or until the chili has thickened, stirring occasionally.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Comments: Add a little hot pepper sauce or cayenne pepper if you like a spicier chili. Serve in bowls topped with all the classic chili fixins like shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onion, or sliced jalapeno peppers.

So easy, and so good! Whip up some corn muffins and toss a green salad for a full meal.
