Instructions: Place the chicken on the tray without overlapping the pieces.
Pour over any remaining marinade. Drizzle the remaining oil on top and bake in a moderately hot oven (200 degrees C 400 degrees F gas mark 6) for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked. Then put under a hot grill to dry up the juices and to brown the chicken a bit. Serve hot garnished with lemon wedges and onion rings. Alternatively you can barbecue the mannated chicken legs. (Note: If you can get hold of a tandoor skewer the chicken and bake at a hot temperature.) Recipe is a hallmark dish of Punjab and is tremendously popular with non vegetarian indians.
