Yield:
5 cups ( 20 servings
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
28 oz tomato puree
4 x cloves garlic -- pressed
1 sm onion -- diced
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbl liquid smoke flavoring (not Wrights*)
1/2 cup molasses
2 tbl Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tbl salt
1 tbl dark sesame oil
1/4 cup bourbon (optional)
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all ingredients except lemon juice in large saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer until desired thickness (about 1 hour). Turn off the heat and add lemon juice, mixing well. Store in refrigerator. Keeps indefinitely.

Yield:about 5 cups ( about 20 servings).

* I find Wrights Liquid Smoke to be too intense and concentrated. It reminds me of the day after a house fire. I much prefer Colgin Liquid Smoke.
