6 tbl	margarine
2 tbl	olive oil
8 x	red peppers, diced
4 x	carrots, diced
3 x	shallots, diced
2 x	cloves garlic, minced
2 x	pears, chopped
12 cup	water
3 tbl	parve chicken soup powder
4 lrg	strips roasted red peppers
1 tsp	crushed red pepper
	dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Instructions: In a large stock pot, heat oil and margarine. Add vegetables and saute over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 1/2 hour. Puree.
