Instructions: Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, cinnamon and sliced onion in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
In another saucepan, bring beets and the liquid from the cans to a boil. Boil for about 2 minutes. Turn heat off. Pour the hot marinade over beets and let cool. Place in clean jars.
