1 x minced clv garlic (or more, to taste)
1/2 cup prepared mustard
2 tbl soy sauce
2 tbl salad oil
1/2 tsp ground pepper (more or less to taste)
1/4 tsp ginger (we use minced fresh ginger, and more of it)

1 tbl prepared horseradish if you like it.

Instructions:
Instructions: Mix or blend the coating stuff to make a paste.

Place the roast in a roasting pan, rib side down. Brush top and sides with coating. Reserve a bit of coating to fill in holes that may develop during cooking. Roast at 350 F for about 20 min/lb, more or less according to how well done you like beef. Let rest 10 minutes or so after removing from oven.
