This easy sauce makes a luscious topping for the roulade and the savory Mashed Celery Root and Potatoes. In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring often, until onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring often, until they begin to release their juices. Add water, soy sauce, bouillon powder and dissolved cornstarch; stir well. Simmer until thickened slightly, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Email this Recipe:
