Instructions: Add oil to Dutch oven over medium heat, add onions. Toss with oil, add 1 tablespoon water, and cook until limp. Add ground beef and cook until all the pink is gone. Add remaining ingredients; simmer for 25 minutes.
This recipe serves 6. Comments: This is fine for both the family and company and is really best made with dried basil. Easy to make, it also freezes well.
